Premiere of the book „Kobieta metamuzyczna” („The Meta-Music Woman”)
On 28 May 2014, during the premiere of the Marcin Cieślar’s book „Kobieta metamuzyczna” („The Meta-Music Woman”) we presented an artistic edition of this work. 48 books were printed on the special paper and bound by hand. Every binding is of different design.
Warsaw Book Fair 2014
On May 22-25 2014, at the National Stadium in Warsaw, the jubilee 5th edition of the Warsaw Book Fair was held. Over 700 exhibitions from Poland and abroad were visited by more than 60 thousand visitors.
National Conference „Book as the Cultural Asset and the Source of Knowledge”
On 12-14 May 2014, on the occasion of 650th anniversary of Jagiellonian University, in Tarnów was held national conference „Book as the Cultural Asset and the Source of Knowledge”.
Urszula Kurtiak made a speech of the future of the books. Edward Ley spoke on the subject of books’ influence on civilization changes.
Annual ball of the Polish Guild of Gutenberg’s Knights
In April 2014, on the annual ball held by the Polish Guild of Gutenberg’s Knights, Urszula Kurtiak and Edward Ley became members of this venerable society.
Polish Guild of Gutenberg’s Knights is an integral part of the European Confraternity of the Knights of Gutenberg, an organization operating in six European countries.
