Artistic leather binding
Pan Tadeusz is the last epic poem in the history of world literature. It can be compared to Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey. Adam Mickiewicz was a genius of poetry just like Chopin of music. If the Nobel Prize had been awarded in those days, the author of Pan Tadeusz would inevitably have received it.
For this reason, he deserves to be more popular. So we published it in English, and it can serve as an excellent gift for English speakers, perfectly spreading Polish culture.
The most important and well-known text in Polish literature was printed on special art paper and hand-bound uniquely in leather and also silver and gemstones. The illustrative layer reflects one of the characteristic features of Poles, which is quarrelsomeness.
Each element of the binding such as the type and color of leather, liners, capitals, bookmarks are carefully selected and executed to achieve a harmonious whole.

Books and Gardens
English Limited Edition
Combines the noble bibliophile tradition, luxury craftsmanship with the latest technologies.
We would like to introduce you to Books & Gardens, a personal album by Kurtiak and Ley Publishing House, which is located in a historic palace surrounded by old greenery.
It shows how we brought the historic building back to life, and how we shaped the garden arrangements over 25 years. Comparative photos show the same locations before the planting began and the current state.
This album tells the story of what plants mean to us as our immediate environment, but also as a creative inspiration. This is because we use floral motifs to decorate the bindings of our books using artistic bookbinding techniques.
In this book, we used augmented reality as a bookbinding decoration technique for the first time. In the video from the Books & Gardens AR application, we point out the synergy of the plant world and bees, which have a unique significance for humanity.
Books & Gardens – presentation of augmented reality
An English-language collection of the most interesting and meaningful aphorisms about gardens, supplemented by photographs of the garden of Kurtiak and Ley Publishing House and photos of our publications having floral themes.
The Books & Gardens was published on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the Oxford Botanical Gardens.
Books & Gardens is gaining a completely new dimension with a mobile application using augmented reality to experience the unprecedented sensation of bringing the cover to life with spatial animation.

What is this extraordinary and intelligent text about? About what really matters in the world, about what can change the course of history, what can make people happy and at the same time depress them, what can inspire all human action. Taking a metaphor from the biblical story of the creation of the world, Twain described, extremely insightfully and with his proper sense of humour, how that first all-powerful feeling – the world’s first love – was born. The meeting of the first human beings, the forefather and foremother of us all, in the literary form of diaries, is an opportunity to show those subtle mental qualities that have distinguished men and women since the human race came into being on Earth and are as much a source of misunderstanding as of mutual fascination. Mark Twain’s perceptive, subtle and witty language makes the text a pleasure to read.
The book was printed in a limited edition on artistic ribbed paper and hand-bound in leather. Some copies have been published in the innovative form of a picture book, housed in a frame to be hung on the wall. However, only the owner knows how the picture book can be removed and reinserted for reading. This new book concept is legally protected (UP No. W119400).
