The great Arab scholar Muhammad al-Ali wrote in 1434 a textbook on astronomy and geography titled Treatise on the Wonders of Astronomy. In a way, it is a medieval encyclopaedia.
The book travelled a long way, as it attracted the interest of numerous collectors until it reached the collections of the National Library in Warsaw. It is the only copy of this book in the world.
